The Challenge

Miss Emmy is a passionate fruit enthusiast who has recently started her own juice company. Her company specializes in creating fresh juices from the harvest of her family's fruit farm. Miss Emy's goal is to create a sustainable business model that reduces harvest losses and provides healthy and delicious juices directly to consumers. The design challenge: how can we create a packaging solution that will help Miss Emy's brand stand out and appeal to her target audience while showcasing her personal touch and local sourcing?

Understanding Emmys Goals

Miss Emmy wants to evoke feelings of freshness, health, and sustainability, such that every glass of juice reminds her customers this is coming from the neighbor two doors away.

Using secondary research from existing brands that share Emmysโ€™ values, I noted the need to incorporate some visual elements such as vibrant colors, illustrations of fruits, and the need to prominently display information about the nutritional benefits and the natural ingredients used.

The mood board focuses on existing brands that demonstrate a great use of the following criteria;

  • Visual appeal,

  • Use of natural fruit colors,

  • Sustainable packaging, and

  • Evokes a feeling of freshness.
